James "Pate" Philip State Park & Visitor Center
The state park encompasses 501 acres of open space that extend into DuPage, Kane and Cook counties. The mission is to celebrate Illinois' natural history with the goal to restore as fully as possible portions of natural prairie, woodland and wetland ecosystems. The visitor center provides a special window into the park’s restoration story. Exhibits containing photomurals and interactive displays highlight the prairie and the need to protect and rebuild this valuable ecosystem.
Working under the Lead Exhibit Designer, I designed the visuals, graphic layout and navigational elements. I also created the production ready files for final output and installation.
